About this course

Sustainable Seas Trust (SST) is a science-based organisation inspiring individuals, organisations, and communities to become passionate and committed custodians of Africa’s seas through an Africa-wide network empowered by research, education, economic upliftment, and collaboration, driving the blue economy. SST’s largest programme, Operation Clean Spot | A Holistic South African Campaign to Kerb Litter  (OCS) aims to inspire everyone to take responsibility for their waste where they live, work and play.

Munch is a fish-shaped recycling deposit that visits schools to help identify, sort and collect recyclable waste. His mission is to help schools collect all the recyclable waste that accumulates on their grounds to promote healthier, cleaner, and more prosperous communities. Let’s feed Munch and clean up this spot!

Here’s a video to learn more about the Munch programme,  Munch-on-the-Move An SST Educational Programme.

SST has pleasure in acknowledging the core support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Norway, and also thanking the SST education staff that have been integral to the design and development of this educational programme.
